There is a crackle in Body and, Soul (track 17, disc 2 at approximately 2:09)., The sound quality isn't the best, but it is the only New Grass Revival, of this era I've seen circulating. It sounds to me like there is at, least one reel or cassette generation in the lineage, due to the fact, that several times the music becomes distorted/warbly. Almost like water, damage that I have heard on other reels from this time period.

During the Bela/Pat era, NGR performed at the fest in 1982, 1984-85, 1987, 1989 (according to the fest archives). As Sam was getting back up to full strength post-cancer surgery, the band incorporated duets into their show to give Sam a rest. Plus, the material from this broadcast would fit with their material in '82. Finally, "Eager & Anxious" is described by Pat as "Bela's newest instrumental," which appeared on Spectrum's final studio album, It's Too Hot For Words, which was released after Bela left and that band broke up (late 1981)., 15.
